Two Italian Chefs Combine Talents in Bangkok

Chef Andrea Ortu from La Bottega di Luca in Bankok (top left) will host Diego Rossi (top right) from Trippa in Milan in his kitchen for two very special dinner services on 13 and 14 November.
Combining their Italian heritage and creative minds the culinary magic is sure to flow as the joint talents from Trippa and La Bottega showcase the very best flavours from Italy in a unique six course menu served on both nights (see the menu below).
The emphasis will be on “La Cucina di Casa” or home cooked food, highlighting traditional food with a twist and the sharing of Italian ingredients and culture to the fullest, enabled by culinary stars Diego Rossi and Federico Sisti from Trippa Milano.
Traditional style trattoria, Trippa, opened 2 years ago in Milan, where in Italian ‘Trippa’ means something concrete, and satisfying. It has since garnered a devout following of foodie fans for its comfort home cooking with an edge. Sardinian born head chef Andrea Ortu draws on his memories of childhood flavours, while using the best Italian seasonal produce to serve guests at fine dining La Bottega di Luca.
The special menu for this occasion will be a fusion of skills and flavours highlighting how Chef Rossi’s skills obtained in starred restaurants and haute cuisine translates to home-cooked, seasonal food.
