Tokyo's 'Vinexpo Nippon' Will Host Wine & Spirits From Around the World
The inaugural edition of the Nippon VinExpo 2014, aimed at wine and spirits professionals, will take place in Tokyo on November 1-2.
Did you know Japan is the second largest wine importer and leading spirits importing nation in Asia? The country's booming sales have prompted the inaugural edition of the Vinexpo Nippon, a wine and spirits exhibition to be held in Tokyo on November 1-2.
Vinexpo Nippon 2014 will feature wine and sprits from around the world and showcase the products from major wine-producing countries like Chile, France, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, Australia and South Africa. The event is geared at wine and spirits professionals interested in broadening their horizons and networking with peers.
Visitors can expect to see renown brands such as Baron Philippe de Rothschild, Clarence Dillon, Miguel Torres, Allegrini, Castello di Ama, Montes and the Californian Kendall-Jackson on display. They will get to sample red and white wines, champagne and sparkling wines, as well as whisky, vodkas and white and brown rums from all corners of the globe.
A total of 17 Master classes will be held so visitors can discover Portuguese and Indian wines, taste premium Bordeaux wines, learn about one of the world's oldest spirit, taste beer and much more.
