S.Pellegrino Young Chef 2015 USA regional winner, Vinson Petrillo, and global winner, Mark Moriarty, are gearing up to combine talents in a unique four hands dinner in Charleston, USA on 23rd and 24th March.
USA Chef Petrillo will welcome his former competitor, and now food ally and friend, Irish chef, Mark Moriarty, to his kitchen at Zero Café at Zero George Street Hotel, as part of Moriarty’s worldwide pop-up tour.
The talented duo have devised a special four course menu for the two consecutive nights with paired wines. Dishes include; Potatoes baked in seaweed and salt; Mussels cooked in whey, buttermilk, sorrel Cobia poached in spring garlic, anchovy, onion, ramsons Lamb, caramelized yoghurt, carrot, liquorice 'Benne Wafers', green tea, lime and early season strawberries, elderflower, fresh almond, almond cake.
