
S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino 2015
A seafood lunch at a Swiss chateaux and a special ladies night are among the exciting events planned for the 2015 S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino food festival.
The countdown for the 2015 S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino gastro-fest has begun. The annual event held among the breathtaking mountains and lakes of the Swiss contryside will kick off May 3rd and continue until June 14th, offering guests plenty of opportunities to sample some of the finest food in the world.
One of the exciting items on the agenda is a special seafood lunch to be hosted at the legendary Morcote Castle surrounded by scenic Lake Ceresio. On May 16th the castle's restaurant will welcome chefs Andrea Bertarini, Ivo Adam, Lorenzo Albrici and Frank Oerthle who will prepare an exquisite meal accompanied by Laurent-Perrier champagne.
On May 18th, a special Ladies Night will be hosted at the newly opened restaurant Seven in Lugano. The evening will be dedicated to four acclaimed female chefs who will showcase their culinary prowess: Cristina Bowerman, Ana Ros, Adeline Grattard and Viviana Varese.
These are just two of the many events planned for 2015 S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino. This year's theme is the World's Best Chefs, a title that will be honored by eight chefs who share a total of 25 Michelin stars and whose restaurants feature on the World's 50 Best Restaurants list sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.
Participating chefs include Massimo Bottura from Osteria Francescana, Davide Scabin from Combal.Zero, Diego Muñoz from Astrid y Gastón Casa Moreyra, Andreas Caminada from Schauenstein Schloss, Anand Gaggan from Gaggan (most recently the winner of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants), Mauro Colagreco from Mirazur, Sven Elverfeld from Restaurant Aqua and Rasmus Kofoed from Geranium.
