An all-star cast is ready to take you on a tour of the world’s best food and restaurants: the three-days festival concept is a first of its kind in Singapore
Sixteen chefs from all around the globe, including Michelin-star recipients, are ready to take over the Savour food festival in Singapore (from 30th March to 1st April) to give participants a rollercoaster ride through some of the world’s most acclaimed dishes.
Visitors will have an exclusive opportunity to taste the cooking of Alain Passard from France, Singapore celebrity chef Sam Leong, Alvin Leung from Hong Kong, Enrique Olvera from Mexico and many more: everyone of them will prepare three or four of their signature dishes, ranging from traditional Andean to molecular cuisine – the ones their establishments are renowned for. Brazilian chef Tatiana Szeles has just been added to the lineup at Savour 2012, an event sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, Official Sparkling & Still Mineral Waters Sponsor of the Festival. With this addition, there are now 2 female chefs at Savour - Boa Bistro's Tatiana Szeles and Buyan's Sasha Kutuzova - and a total of 16 chefs, presenting over 50 signature dishes all priced between $6 and $21.
Free celebrity chef masterclasses, wine-tastings and culinary workshops will be part of the experience, while at the Gourmet Market - over at the 5,000sqm air conditioned - one will be able to shop for unusual delicacies not readily available in Singapore such as avocado oil from New Zealand, Japanese edible 'candy toys', Indian-inspired Chai Latte syrup or artisan bread.
