Savour The City's Best Dishes At Taste of Milano 2012

Are you visiting Milan this week? If so, don't miss the opportunity to drop by Taste of Milano 2012 (here you can find a report and a photogallery from 2011 edition). The third edition of the annual food festival will take place from 17th until the 20th of  of May.

Set in the expansive grounds of the San Siro Hippodrome, you will be able to sample the best food the city's chefs have to offer. Featured Milanese chefs include Michelin starred chef Davide Oldani from D'O restaurant, Viviana Varese from Alice Ristorante and Matias Perdomo from Al Pont de Ferr restaurant, both just awarded with the first Michelin star.

One of the hightlights of the food festival will be a pop-up restaurant by acclaimed London chef Atul Kochhar. This Michelin starred chef of Benares restaurant is known for his modern twist on traditional Indian cuisine. Taking advantage of his pop-up restaurant is a must if you attend Taste of Milano 2012.

With 100 different events over a four-day span, Taste of Milano is a foodie's dream. The food festival will also feature a kid's menu, making it a family friendly affair. All disposable plates and utensils at the event are completely biodegradable, creating minimal impact on the environment.
