The world's most exciting restaurant festival heads downunder to the vibrant city of Melbourne next month for a four-day celebration of top produce, local restaurants and chefs at the annual Taste of Melbourne Festival 2016.
Running from 10 – 13 November at Pelican Lawn, Albert Park Lake, this is the place to be for the hottest, latest and most talked about venues serving up bitesize servings to thousands of gourmets.
Taste of Melbourne Festival Line-Up
This year’s stellar line-up of 14 restaurants with 11 chef’s hats between them include: Estelle Bistro, Pickett’s Deli and Rotisserie, Supernormal, Cumulus Inc., Mamasita x Hotel Jesus, MoVida, Circa, The Prince, The Royal Mail Hotel, Fancy Hanks, Om Nom, Lûmé, Gazi and Marea Cevicheria presented by Pastuso. Each will serve an incredible array of 50 signature dishes between them, as well as exclusive Icon Dishes that will be created especially for the event. With each 'taster' dish at an average of $6 there's no better way to sample the restaurant scene and select your new favourite chef or venue.
It's not all the eating, with a spread of other activities, from live cooking demonstrations with the likes of TV celebrity chef George Calombaris and wine tastings, to hands-on cooking classes, live entertainment and much more – there is something for everyone at Taste of Melbourne.
