Pick you your tickets for this year's annual Savannah Food and Wine Festival celebrating Southern cuisine in style throughout the city from 9-15 November.
Savannah Food & Wine Festival 2015 is gearing up for its 5th annual culinary extravaganza. Taking place between November 9th and 15th at various locations throughout the historic city of Savannah, Georgia this year's event promises to be even bigger and better.
Taste of Savannah remains this year's signature event from a new location in Georgia State Railroad Museum. The historical grounds will be open for visitors to wander whilst savoring hundreds of wines, spirits and Belgium beers. Savannah’s best restaurants will also be participating with a selection of culinary delights available for purchase.
Other highlights include:
- A world record attempt for the World’s Largest Lowcountry Boil
- Celebrity chef masterclasses
- The River Street Stroll held on the riverfront for showcasing local and international wines, spirits and beers
- James Beard Foundation’s Celebrity chef tour
- Food and music on the green at the Artisanal Supper at The Landings.
Not to be missed is the Jazz and bubbles brunch on the final day.
This year's notables include Empire State South chef Hugh Acheson and owner of The Florence in Savannah, Todd Richards of White Oak Kitchen and Cocktails, Sean Doty of Bantam & Biddy; Asha Gomez of Spice to Table, Savannah Haseler of Twain’s Brew Pub in Decatur and Eric Ottensmeyer of Paper Mill Grill in Marietta.
