Ready To Taste? The Food Festival Starts In Berlin
Today the 10-day event kicks off, gathering 50 internationally recognized food designers and artists
Berlin’s Taste Festival dedicated to food and creativity is starting today. Hosted at the suggestive, Directorhaus premises, for the next 10 days Taste will showcase the work of 50 internationally recognized food designers and artists, in addition to a series of food markets, presentations and parties all inspired by food as a central topic for today’s design.
Inventive workshops like Michela Grisi and Nicholas Bertini’s Vegetablove will go along with tastings and lectures, like Ryan Bromley’s speech about art and its taste or the Culinary Misfit’s lo-fi cooking show. At the settlement that was set up for the occasion across the pier of the River Spree, local and international brands and institutions will dialogue with the future of food, through site specific caterers and a flea market open to everyone.
