Paris Unveils Magnifique Cookbook Exhibition
Hungry for the work of famous chefs? Then head on over to Paris where an exciting new exhibition called 'Cookbook' features the work of chefs
In recent times, chefs have been hailed as artists for their creativity in the kitchen. We've seen how Ferran Adrià's self-described ''techno-emotional'' cuisine brought him international acclaim and inspired countless other chefs to create art on the plate. Now, there's a new exhibit in Paris that puts the spotlight on the creations of spectacular chefs worldwide.
Simply titled Cookbook, the exhibit at Paris' Palais des Beaux Arts is sponsored by S.Pellegrino and explores the relationship between art and the creative cooking process that chef's undertake. The exhibit features not just cookbooks from famous chefs but also some of their signature dishes, videos, photos and scrapbooks of their creative process. The ''cookbooks'' will be exhibited alongside the work of renown artists like Sophie Calle.
The participating chefs are: Albert and Ferran Adrià, Andoni Aduriz, Inaki Aizpitarte, Massimiliano Alajmo, Yannick Alleno, Eneko Atxa, Massimo Bottura, Michel Bras, Alexandre Gauthier, Bertrand Grebaut, Rodolfo Guzman, Daniel Humm, Virgilio Martinez, Magnus Nilsson, Paul Pairet, Alain Passard, Daniel Patterson, René Redzepi, Davide Scabin, Michel Troisgros.
The exhibition will run until January 9th, 2014.
