Paris Hosts Biggest Event Dedicated to Cocao
The French capital sees the return of one of the world's largest chocolate fairs with over 500 participants from over 60 countries.
This is the rendezvous of the year that all chocolate lovers have firmly marked in thier diaries. In just a few days time, Paris will host the 23rd Salon du Chocolat, also known as "the biggest world event dedicated to chocolate and cocoa".
The 2017 edition will take place from October 28 to November 1 where 500 participants from 60 countries will arrive in the enormous 20,000m² in Hall 5 at the Porte de Versailles.
Among them will be nearly 200 distinguished chocolate exhibitors, pastry chefs, confectioners, chefs and cocoa experts, all ready to reveal their best recipes to the sweet toothed public, along with conferences and other events all centered around the star of this long weekend: chocolate.
WHAT'S NEW FOR THIS 2017 EDITION?
A dedicated area to discovering the Lands of cocoa with a focus on the new challenges facing the future of chocolate. Africa, South America, Indonesia will all be represented as the main cocoa producing countries alongside bean to bar specialists.
This year once again, visitors will also be able to attend live demonstrations and conferences on the world of cocoa during the Cocoa Show, Pastry Show or the Chocosphère.
The public will also see the return of the long awaited Chocolate Dresses Parade, the Dessert Relay Competition and the Chocolate Awards.
