Margaret River Gourmet Escape, the long-awaited Downunder food festival destination returns from 16-18 November with over 45 events in more than 25 unique and breathtaking locations!
For three unforgettable days, this spectacular location in secluded Western Australia will play host to some big names flying in from around the world, in what looks set to be the gourmet escape of the year!
Nigella Lawson is headlining, joined by plenty of returning favourites like Rick and Jack Stein, Tetsuya Wakuda, Julien Royer, Ashley Palmer-Watts, Jo Barrett, Mitch Orr and Guy Grossi to name a few.
A few other International stars will also be making an appearance for the first time including Skye Gyngell (Spring, UK), Monica Galetti (Mere, UK), Niki Nakayama (n/naka, USA), Edgar Núñez (SUD 777, Mexico), Rosio Sánchez (Hija de Sanchez, Denmark) and James Lowe (Lyle’s, UK).
The tried and tested favourites will be on the menu as ever, like Gourmet Beach BBQ, Feast in the Forest, Sunset Beats & Bites, Fraser Gallop Estate Long Lunch, Dining by Twilight at Margaret River’s Secret Garden and the Gourmet Village at Leeuwin Estate peppered with a few new additions to the menu including:
Amelia Park Spring Harvest Dinner: three chefs, Skye Gyngell, Danielle Alvarez and Blair Allen, will celebrate the incredible local produce and seasonal cooking philosophy
Chow’s Table Chinese Feast: three young guns of modern Chinese will cook in one exciting evening of food, drink and story-telling.
