Madrid Fusión is Coming to Manila Soon

International gastronomy congress, Madrid Fusion, is ramping up for its annual Asian edition held in Manila (MFM) from April 7-9 2016 where some of the most acclaimed avant-garde chefs from across the globe will convene.

Building on the success of last year's first departure out of Spain, the event serves an opportunity to commemorate 370 years of common history between Spain and the Philippines—“a long period of cohabitation that has left its mark in Philippine cuisine and other diverse cultural manifestations of the country.”

Taking place in the SMX Convention Center the event includes two major components; the Gastronomy Congress, which includes chef talks, cooking demonstrations and food tasting, and the Trade Exhibition with food and drink producers.

An impressive line-up of chef speakers will by flying in especially for the event including: José Andrés, Ángel León, Virgilio Martínez, Enrique Olvera, Joan Roca as well as Jungsik Yim, Yoshihiro Narisawaand David Thompson fresh from Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2016, to name but a few.
