La Semaine du Goût ( The week of taste) returns across France from 7 to 13 October 2019 to the delight of gourmands. This event, which celebrates 29 years, showcases the expertise of chefs and craftsmen in France for a week, in order to promote the French food heritage.
What's On During Taste Week?
This year's program includes events, meetings and gourmet workshops throughout France.
Throughout the week, nearly 500 partner restaurants of the Les Tables du Goût operation will offer tempting menus.
At the same time, taste courses, culinary shows, canteens and open doors will be organized for Les Animations du Goût with the intention of introducing both the young and old to taste and experiment with different flavors.
During the week, food professionals will also try to pass on their passion and expertise during "The Lessons of Taste". During these few days, students in kindergarten, primary, high school and the university will be entitled to a few classes to develop their creative sense. Many great chefs, butlers and MOF artisans will also come to the institutions to tell their story.
Finally, Chefs on Campus will demonstrate to students that it is possible to eat well and be creative even on a small budget!
