The Hotel Teaching Kids Table Manners
A hotel in London is teaching table manners to kids after nearly 1000 parents said they skipped meals because of their children's table manners
Parents and kids table manners can be a big problem which is why the The Kensington Hotel in London has launched Petite Etiquette, a service that provides classes that teach table manners for kids. The lessons will offer children between the ages of five to ten the chance to learn basic table manners within the hotel dining room.
The complimentary classes launched after the hotel surveyed 2,000 parents and found that 48% of them were embarrassed by their youngster's habits when dining out.
Bad table manners for kids fall under many categories but it seems the most important etiquette rule for parents is children remembering to say please and thank you. And realising that around half of their customers may avoid meals because of their kids manners, the hotel very wisely decided to give them a helping hand.
People can attend the one hour complimentary classes on April 14th and 28th, and remember to thank them when it's finished...
