From the 20th to the 25th of January a team of chefs from all over Europe will descend upon the Alpine resort of Alta Badia for the Chef's Cup.
The event is designed to give chefs a showcase to show off their high standards of cooking and the quality and craftsmanship of local producers that make the Italian area so unique.
Many of the activities during the event will be available to the public with the St. Hubertus hotel and the La Siriola hotel both opening their doors for the showcase.
Sports, entertainment, cooking and meetings will all take place over the five days with chefs looking to learn and teach each other new skills and techniques.
They'll be a demonstration of street food at high altitude with young chefs, cooking lessons and special diners all open to the public - a truly magical culinary event and on the 21st of January chefs will take to the slopes for the Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino Chef's Ski Cup - an interesting event that sees the chefs swap their kitchen whites for the white snow of the Alps.
Pascal Piermattei, Martin Dalsass, Norbert Niederkofler, Andrea Berton and Johannes King are just some of the chefs who will attend the event. A full list of all the chefs in attendance can be found on the Chef's Cup website.
