Tuna lovers should head to the Sardinian island of Carloforte in Italy for the biggest celebration of this incredible fish. Now in its 17th year, the Tuna Competition, a challenge between local and international chefs takes centre stage in amongst a feast of talks, concerts tastings and a food market.

Gourmet Days, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, returns to St Petersburg showcasing the Russian city's culinary scene with a line-up of top chefs from all over the world, including Tim Butler, Jordy Navarra and Richie Lin. The city’s top culinary ambassadors will be putting on a series of dinners and discussions with two days of culinary talks plus over 40 of the best restaurants putting on a special menu for two weeks.

WELCOME CONFERENCE, NYC

The city’s premier Italian fine dining venue, will host a very special culinary event as part of the ‘Fine Dining Lovers by S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna’ series with a unique gourmet dining experience by Chef Taku Tabuchi from the restaurant S’accapau in Tokyo.

The Japanese chef will present his Japanese take on modern Italian flavours in a five course menu with dishes including USDA beef tenderloin with Japanese crisp wafers, balsamic caviar and 50-month-aged Parmigiano Reggiano; homemade scialatielli with mussels, clams, ginger and lemon-grass essence; and roast New Zealand lamb with cream of porcini mushroom and summer truffle sauce.

FEŠTA DAYS, CROATIA
14-16 JUNE, 2019

Chefs, winemakers, fisherman, musicians, bar tenders and food lovers will join forces to celebrate Festa Days in Croatia from 14 to 16 June on this year's theme of "Blue fish and 2nd category fish in high end gastronomy".

Emphasis will be given to sustainable fishing and zero waste as Croatian culinary stars (Dino Galvagno, Tom Gretić, David Skoko, Hrvoje Zirojević, Josip Vrsaljko) take to the kitchen and cook up delicious dishes with hake, anchovies, sardines, fish entrails, swordfishes, amberjack, mullets, murexes, congers, spider fishes, mackerels, and bonitos.

Alongside the cooking there will also be some time for discussing the bigger issues around sustainable fishing including the "history of fishing and fish canning processes on Kornati archipelago", the "tradition of sailing and navigation of Murter sailors", and "the importance of non-selective fishing and sustainable usage of our sea biomass."

Last summer, was the 25th anniversary of FEŠTA Restaurant located on island Žut among Kornati archipelago, and the first official “Fešta days”. Here's a taster of the event.

COOK JAPAN PROJECT
UNTIL JANUARY, 2020

Taking place in Nihonbashi, Tokyo from April 2019 to January 2020 (10 months) this is one of the largest and longest projects in the history of international gastronomy. About 30 internationally renowned chefs come to Japan and each creates a unique degustation course using Japanese ingredients. These are the two unmissable dinners planned for this month:
