Ferran Adria's Notes on Creativity exhibition will open with a special dinner with the masterchef as host and an exclusive question and answer session.
Ferran Adrià, one of the world's most famous chefs, gives fans a chance to get inside his creative genius with the opening of exhibition Ferran Adria's Notes on creativity in its new location of Marres, Maastricht, The Netherlands, where it will remain from March 10 to July 3 2016.
In an exhibition that pays homage to Ferran Adrià's quest for creativity the exhibit charts the origins of Adrià’s intellectual and philosophical ideas about gastronomy which have contributed to the change in how we think about food.
Expect hundreds of Adrià's 'colourful drawings, sketches, plasticine models, collages, photos, provocative recipes, wonderful menus, unique cutlery – such as the soup fragrance spoon – and unusual cooking utensils.' Check out the exhibition highlight with the hall of mirrors with over one hundred floating objects from glass tumblers to metal amuse bouche serving dishes.
Exclusive Dinner - 19.3.16, 19.00
As part of the opening ceremony Ferran Adrià will attend an exclusive opening of the exhibition followed by a fundraising dinner party on March 19, 2016.
Five of Holland’s finest chefs holding nine Michelin stars between them will prepare the dinner, including;
Hans van Wolde (Beluga Loves You, Maastricht), Jonnie Boer (Librije, Zwolle), Margo Reuten (Da Vinci, Maasbracht), the rising patisserie star Marieke Harkema and Sergio Herman (The Jane, Antwerpen).
Tickets are 1000 euros each with proceeds going towards the educational programme Training the Senses: Drawing Flavours for primary and secondary schools in Maastricht.
