Virgilio Martinez, Manoella Buffara, Luca Fantin and  Zaiyu Hasegawa are just a few of the guest chefs preparing special dinners the 21st edition of the food and wine festival in  Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Ein Prosit, sponsored by Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino, returns to Udine in Italy from 24 to 28 October, the event that represents the best food and wine production in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and beyond.

Four days of presentations, tastings, meetings, conferences and dinners will take place with leading figures in the sector. Even more space this year for the most awaited event, the “Mostra Assaggio” with the most interesting food and wine producers from Friuli Venezia Giulia and across Italy.

What's On

Among the unmissable events, there's the Assaggio Exhibition, the main moment of the event: around 150 wine producers divided into "Vigneto" and "Culinaria", will each present 4 labels. There will be guided tastings, curated by prestigious journalism brands, which aim to suggest to wine lovers a correct approach to wine, leading them step by step into the tasting to better appreciate the history, peculiarities and characteristics of the wines presented and their producers.

There will be 40 tastings ranging from the excellent wines of the small producer to the large bottles that have made the history of wine

The Laboratorio dei Sapori will be the appointment with regional and international tastes and flavours to discover the combinations between the most significant gastronomic specialities and the native wines of the Italian peninsula. Two days dedicated to tastings and culinary tastings that also include the participation of internationally renowned chefs.

Finally, for the "Itineraries of Taste" section, two days of combinations will be organized between the most significant gastronomic specialities and the native wines of the Italian peninsula. Culinary tastings will be handled by internationally renowned chefs, including Ana Ros from Hisa Franko in Slovenia, Virgilio Martinez from Central in Peru, Manoella Buffara from Manu in Brazil, Luca Fantin from Il Ristorante Luca Fantin and  Zaiyu Hasegawa from Den in Tokyo.

During Ein Prosit, there will also be music evenings, themed menus and many opportunities for "gourmet" shopping.
