Culinaria Festival Celebrates Belgian Food Heritage

Over 30 Michelin-starred chefs will participate in the 2015 edition of the Culinaria Festival taking place in Brussels from May 6th to May 10th.

Belgian culinary heritage will be front and center at the 2015 edition of Culinaria Festival, which will take place in Brussels from May 6th-10th.

Just as in previous years, some of Belgium’s best Michelin-starred chefs will leave their restaurant kitchen to delight foodies by cooking under elegant tents set up on the Tour & Taxis site in the Belgian capital.

This year’s theme, “The Belgium Effect”, will celebrate the best of Belgian cuisine and will unite the north and south in a harmonious mix of flavors and specialties. Besides the variety of menus offered by the country’s greatest chefs, the event will also be a chance for local producers, farmers, wine makers and brewers to display their goods and latest product novelties.

Over 30 Michelin-starred chefs will participate in “The Belgium Effect”, including Benoit Dewitte (Restaurant Bernard & Benoit Dewitte), Kobe Desramaults (In De Wulf), Pastry Chef Pierre Marcolini (Maison Pierre Marcolini), Pascal Devalkeneer (Le Chalet de la Forêt), Yves Mattagne (Sea Grill). The three-star French Chef Michel Troisgros will be the guest of honor of the 2015 Culinaria Festival.

S.Pellegrino is the official sponsor of the 2015 Culinaria Festival.
