Copenhagen Cooking and Food Festival 2019: Discover What's On

If you love being at the coal face of all that's new and progressive in food, head to the Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival 2019 for a ten day celebration of Copenhagen's food scene. Attracting foodies from around the world the exciting food capital delivers on all that's delicious in the citywide festival from 23 August to 1 September.

Promising 10 days of unrivalled food-centred activities in the heart of Copenhagen with more than 100 unique events to choose from - from intimate chef dinners and classic fine dining to street food and communal harvest feasts to cooking courses.

Over 90,000 people are expected in what is an annual city wide celebration of a food scene at the forefront of gastronomy.

Baest Farm pop up dinner -24 August

Join the Baest Farm pop up dinner in a barn and sample some of the wood over fired pizzas that have made their name across the capital, with homemade charcuterie and mozzarella.

At home with Claus Meyer - 27 August

Claus Meyer will invite guests to trace a vinegar’s journey from raw food through double fermentation and onwards to become a 17 year old balsamic nectar stored in handmade juniper barrels each holding 15 liters. The trip will be on two wheels so bring your cycle legs!

At home with Christian Puglisi - 29 August

Join Christian F. Puglisi at home for a family style dinner seated at a long table in the middle of the field in stunning surroundings. The evening's menu will offer five organic green dishes, all of which will be created based on the days harvest, as well as fresh cheeses produced with jersey milk from their own cows. Before the dinner Christian will also give a tour of the field and talk a little about the philosophy behind Farm of Ideas, his future dreams and the new alliance with Svanholm.
