The Sake Sommelier Association (SSA) have launched a selection of sake sommelier courses to meet the growing interest in the traditional form of Japanese rice wine.
The courses teach people all there is to know when buying, tasting and pairing sakes with other foods. It will be the first time this time of education has been offered in the UK.
People taking part can go as far as to receive sake sommelier accreditation if they complete two of the courses offered by the SSA.
The association says the courses are aimed at all levels of sake lovers from professional restaurant and industry figures to home lovers - they even claim that representatives from Gordon Ramsay restaurants will attend the courses.
The first courses start on the 15th October and will be held at the MWB Business Exchange in London - places can be booked online.
