April Bloomfield Headlines Great Cornish Food Festival
The New York based chef will be showcasing her culinary skills in the UK's South West, amidst a wealth of local producers and food artisans.
Cornwall, the thriving food hub found in the UK's South West will welcome the Cornish Food Festival for three food filled days of festivities during its 12th annual return to Truro's Lemon Quay from 23 to 25 September.
This year's event will be headlined by chef April Bloomfield returning to British soil for a sojourn from her highly popular NYC restaurant, Spotted Pig. She takes to the stage along with Tom Adams (Pitt Cue, London) and local master butcher Philip Warren.
The two chefs have also recently embarked on a new farm based venture in the UK countryside which looks set to be a perfect food retreat, set on a working farm with a guesthouse, dining room which will include workshops, curing rooms and festivals.
Over 100 food experts and chefs are expected to support the event along with a wide selection of quality local producers will be exhibiting their giving sustenance to visitors and the chance to explore the region's delicacies from Cornish cider to Cornish salt.
