Almost Famous Chef: Who Will Be the Next Winner?

For ten years now student chefs from culinary schools from the U.S. and Canada have competed annually in the Almost Famous Chef Competition, the world-class cooking contest hosted by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.

The 2012 regional competitions, sweeping America from coast to coast, saw over 70 culinary schools compete head to head against each other; the contest is now headed for the Finals in the Napa Valley, California.

Wannabe celebrity chefs will strive to make the most of the mentorship from the great ones. For them, it’s not just about competing for a chance to win, it’s also time to go all-out and seize the day on this unique career-launching opportunity. For the winner, up to $22,000 in prizes and an apprenticeship with a master chef await.
