Beaujolais Nouveau Day, France
November 19th marks the release date of Beaujolais Nouveau. In celebration of the occasion approximately 120 Beaujolais Nouveau related festivals will held in the Beaujolais region in the heart of the Rhône-Alpes region, in east-central France.
Whilst the young fruity wine might not appeal to everyone's palette the traditional celebrations are more than a good enough excuse to get involved. Whether the biggest celebrations will take place in Beaujolais there are plenty of others across France and even in the USA to choose from on this day, even if it just involves raising a glass in your local bar.
Take a look at the website or your local area to see the extent of the beaujolais nouveau celebrations.
