
3 Unmissable Food Events coming to Paris this Spring
A trio of food attractions will unfold in Paris this spring: Sugar Paris, Taste of Paris and the largest retail fair with a huge gastronomic offering.
Paris welcomes a number of food festivals this spring - from pastry workshops at Sugar Paris to tasting food from some of the country's finest chefs at Taste of Paris, there's something to tempt most taste buds to the French capital this spring.

Sugar Paris
20 to 22 April
Those with a sweet tooth will want to head to Sugar Paris, the annual show dedicated to cake design, returns to the Parc Floral from 20 to 22 April 2018.
For three cake fuelled days, fans can discover the latest fashionable utensils, attend demonstrations and take part in workshops.
Both beginners and more experienced pastry chefs will also be in paradise, discovering a selection of doughs, cookie cutters, cake pans, confectionery, syrups ... In total, a hundred exhibitors from all over the world whole will offer up their novelties.

La Foire de Paris
La Foire de Paris - the first and largest general purpose fair festive in Europe has called Paris home since 1904.
While the curious can discover the great and small domestic innovations of tomorrow, gourmets will not be left out. "The culinary fair is the rendezvous of gourmands and bon vivants," warns the La Foire de Paris website.
"Local products and traditional dishes will be showcased alongside the latest innovations in molecular cuisine. Food lovers will also be able to find unusual gifts and clever utensils. Your journey will begin with the sector "Wines and gastronomy", where you can discover Moroccan specialties, Brazilian, Senegalese, etc ... But also Breton, Aveyron or Auvergne. "The more daring can also taste molecular cuisine or cakes made from insect meal."
Walking among over 200 exhibitors,will be hungry work, but you'll be delighted to learn that the Foire de Paris will offer many dining spaces. Those in a hurry will go to the foodtruck village, in front of the pavilion dedicated to wine and gastronomy, to swallow a good burger, discover Vietnamese or African cuisine. Others will take the time to settle at the counters of French, Italian or Guadeloupean producers to savor an authentic and hearty meal.

Taste of Paris
17 to 20 May
One of the unmissable rendezvous of gastronomy calendar in Paris is the Taste of Paris, from May 17 to 20 at the Grand Palais.
For this fourth edition, the event called on 27 renowned chefs who will cook for four days to treat the expected 30,000 visitors. Taste of Paris will also host a 1.000m² gourmet market, cooking classes and masterclasses led by top chefs.
In total, 27 chefs - Michelin starred, bistronomy, pastry chefs, etc. - will settle behind the stoves of the 18 pop-up restaurants. This year, visitors will be able to (re) discover the cuisine of Alain Ducasse (Plaza Athénée), Frédéric Anton (Le Pré Catelan), Anne-Sophie Pic (La Dame de Pic), Bruno Doucet (La Régalade), Dan Yosha (Balagan), Denny Imboisi (Epoca) but also Christophe Michalak (Michalak Paris), Nicolas Haelewyn (Karamel), Yann Menguy (La Goutte d'Or) and once more, Cédric Grolet (Le Meurice).
