Need an excuse to visit the South Pacific? Plan a visit to the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival scheduled to be held September 1-9th.
We can't think of a better reason to visit Maui this fall than the 3rd annual Hawaii Food & Wine Festival to be held September 1-9th.
The festival will kick off with a special sunset dinner at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort & Spa. The lavish feast highlighting local products will be prepared by six chefs including Chicago chef Rick Tramonto and Marcel Vigneron of Top Chef fame.
An event not to miss is Under the Modern Moon: Morimoto & Friends featuring celebrity chef Matsaharu Morimoto. Iron Chef Morimoto and 15 renown Asian and Pacific chefs will showcase a series of dishes with the theme 'east meets west.'
The signature event will be the Halekulani Master Chefs Gala Series seven-course dinner themed Around the World with Seven Chefs on September 5th. Each will be prepared by a different chef and paired with an exciting selection of wines.
