As 3D printing develops, more and more uses for this disruptive technology are discovered. It's been used in production, art, medicine and it's slowly started to find it's way into the kitchen.
Step up a some professors and a team of students at the Designlab Coburg. They've managed to build a cookie printing machine - one of the best food uses for 3D printing seen so far.
Using a computer the team created a beautiful start pattern before setting the machines in place to begin creating Christmas cookies.
The video is well shot and put together and the finished treats look especially tasty.
