Pineapple and ham? Buffalo chicken ranch? Scorpions? These toppings are no match for these outrageous pizzas created by Parisian design studio BlackPizza.

The studio has released a photo series called Pizza Is The New Black, a sort of a tongue-in-cheek homage to everyone's favorite food. The series is composed of 11 wildly imaginative images featuring some crazy pizza toppings like lipstick, chopsticks, a mobile phone and a corkscrew. Each picture has a creative name - like WTF, acid and pink lady - that captures it's essence.

Food stylist Julie Basset and photographer Erwan Fichou collaborated with BlackPizza in this exciting series. Here's a look at the entire collection of Pizza is the New Black:
