Light Boxes Made with Gummy Bears

Just last week we brought the work of an artist who uses sugar to make wonderful patterns that replicate the style of stain glass windows. In a similar style we have this work from the Mayice architects who have produced a wonderful material using melted fruit gums.

The light boxes are produced by taking chewy candy and melting it down into a psychedelic mix of colouring that looks wonderful.

The unique results of each box are super hypnotic and look wonderful hanging as they cast shadows of different colours through the light that shines through.

The designs also have a sweet smell thanks to use of gummy bears and each one is truly different thanks to the way the colours mix together.

Take a look at the video below to see how they’re made.
