Kristen Meyer's Amazing Geometric Food Art

We love a spoonful of food art here at FDL headquarters, which is why we decided to highlight the work of prop stylist and designer Kristen Meyer here.

The Connecticut based artist has fun creating mesmerising geometric flat lay art using found organic materials that she places on pastel backgrounds and photographs.

Cheese and crackers, sticks, spaghetti, herbs, melon, pulses and more are all placed with meticulous precision inside circles and squares, creating a sense of order where there would usually be disarray.

Take a look at some of our favourites below and head to her Instagram page for more. If you think they'd look great on your wall, Meyer also offers images of her prints on her website.
