Does tomato larvae risotto sound like something you'd like to try? With this new at-home farming system you can grow your own bugs at home to sprinkle over your favorite foods.

This clever device is called Farm 432 and was designed by Katharina Unger. It lets you breed fly larvae in the comfort of your own home. This way you gladly join the edible insect revolution started by chefs like Noma's René Redzepi and the United Nations.

It only takes two weeks to turn less than a quarter teaspoon of black soldier fly eggs into more than five pounds of ready-to-eat larvae. Talk about return on investment!
