Aluminium beer cans are something most people don't think twice about. They certainly don't get points for looks but are definitely practical. We promise you'll see them in a whole new light after watching this mesmerizing video of how beer cans are made.

This whimsical video set to classical music comes courtesy of Garage Project, a microbrewery based in Wellington, New Zealand. It showcases the nose-to-tail process of canning the company's Hops on Pointe champagne pilsner, brewed especially for the Royal New Zealand Ballet.

The beer is made with German malts, Nelson Sauvin hops and finished with a champagne yeast. According to the company website, Hops on Pointe is "a pale gold lager with a crisp, clean palate" with  "rich tropical fruit aromas and tight champagne bubbles" - in other words, a party in a can.
