Paper Donut is a collective founded by the Toulouse-based paper artist Alexis Facca plus a few other talented hands and minds. Using colorful carton to create cartoonish, geometrical paper volumes and space scenography, the team has also executed several food-inspired projects.

Alexis imagines a world made out of paper, bringing to life three-dimensional structures inspired by the shape of any short of objects, from laptops to grapes.

His work for IF magazine and for the pop food publication Fricote from Paris, has recently brought to him some A-list collaborations with the likes of Universal Music and Converse, that has commissioned him to create one of the artworks for the company’s SS 2012 advertising campaign in Europe. More of his food work can be seen online or at Eat Me, a comprehensive food design manual recently published by Victionary Editions.
