A cake-themed golf course has opened atop London's Selfridges deparment store as an exhuberant homage to the Queen. As her majesty's Diamond Jubilee approaches, the department store on London's posh Oxford Street is going all out with the Big Rooftop Tea & Golf Party.

The 2,500 sqaure-foot (762 sq. meters) nine hole golf course is dotted with faux cake structures designed in the shape of London landmarks like Tower Bridge and the Buckingham Palace.  Not only will visitors be able to play a wild game of golf and enjoy the ''highest'' tea in London, but Selfridges will make sure the air up there is literally sweet, courtesy of a special device that will project the scent of the uber British Bakewell tarts.

This crazy British rooftop tea party was designed by reknown food architects Bompas & Parr, who've designed other Selfridges rooftop projects. The eccentric golf course will be open all summer, including during the Olympics, until 2nd September.
