Too Much Food Snapping Could Lead to Problems

If you're anything like us then you reach straight for the camera every time you're presented with a great meal, snap, filter and share is the usual style of play.

It seems that most people are taking pictures of great meals these days but according to new research from the University of Toronto the habit of sharing food pictures could signify bigger problems than your dinner going slightly cold.

Dr. Valerie Taylor who was part of the study said that producing a large amount of food images on sharing sites like Instagram could lead to a preoccupation with food, adding: "We take pictures of things that are important to us, and for some people, the food itself becomes central and the rest -– the venue, the company, et cetera -- is background."

So, it seems we're safe for the moment but we're concerned at FDL HQ about the idea that one day the company at the dinner table may not be as valued as much as the food.
