The Ledbury restaurant run by chef Brett Graham was today voted the best restaurant in London for the second year consecutively.
Often sighted as a favorite by other chefs in and around London - The Ledbury which has two Michelin stars and was voted number at The World's 50 Best Restaurants, is know for cooking modern French food with hints of the chef's British and Australian training.
It's located in London's Nottinghill Area and is know for a number of signature dishes including, Loin and neck of lamb with rosemary curd, artichokes, sunflower seeds and garlic, Flame grilled mackerel with smoked eel, celeriac baked in ash with wood sorrel and the dessert of olive oil panna cotta with fig-leaf granita, fig-leaf ice cream and citrus beignets.
With so many accolades bestowed on the restaurant it surprisingly retains the relaxed atmosphere and refined, yet simple, approach to food. Seasonality and ingredients lead the way with a down to earth mantra throughout.
