Thanksgiving is a time of reflection, best spent with loved ones, but at one New York restaurant it’s the perfect time for the super rich to give thanks for the bundles of cash they have at their disposal by laying down $50,000 on a Thanksgiving feast to remember.

Old Homestead, in Manhattan, has form for this sort of thing and the Thansgiving feast menu they’re laying out for Thanksgiving 2016 is a roll call of pure culinary opulence. There are all the usual suspects according to First We Feast, including a 20 pound turkey basted in Italian extra virgin olive oil stuffed with $465 a pound (9kg) Wagyu beef and foie gras, sweet potatoes topped with $1600 an ounce caviar and pumpkin ice cream served with a $4,200 a bottle rum-infused eggnog sauce.

The food (and we’re guessing some pretty fine wines to accompany it too) only clocks up half the bill though: the restaurant are also throwing in tickets to a football game, a room at the Waldorf Astoria and a $7500 shopping spree, amongst other things. For us mere mortals there is also a cheaper dinner option at $65. Or, you could reserve a Thanksgiving dinner at one of these Michelin star restaurants for a lot less then $50,000.
