Recently premiering at Berlin's culinary fim festival Gilles de Maistre's discreet film follows French culinary genius, Alain Ducasse, as he travels the world for 18 months visiting his suppliers and restaurants in preparation for opening luxury restaurant Ore in the Palace of Versailles.
Billed as "absorbing and cinematic" by Variety, it's a great opportunity to see the the multi Michelin star chef (18 at the last count) pursue his quest for culinary perfection, tasting, inspecting, encouraging, discovering and travelling from London to New York and Tokyo to Rio.
Magnolia has acquired the North American Rights to Pathé’s film, meaning there should be the chance to globe trot with Alain Ducasse soon.
