15 February marks the return of Noma, the pioneering Copenhagen restaurant, which shuttered its doors in early 2017 and has since relocated to a new location in the city. It naturally made our list of the hottest restaurant openings to look out for in 2018.
As we previously reported, the new menu will be heavily seasonal, focusing on seafood during the winter, vegetables during the spring/summer and game come autumn.
Of course, reservations for the first season sold out almost instantly, but you may remember chef René Redzepi and the Noma team are offering two lucky people the chance to dine there on opening night, all expenses paid, including travel and accommodation. You simply have to donate via Omaze, with all proceeds going to their MAD non-profit.
To promote the offer, the Noma team and Omaze have made a 90-second video, which offers a tantalising glimpse of what to expect in the first season of Noma 2.0, from the kind of things you could be eating, to the tableware and the new fermentation lab.
Take a look below and by the way, reservations for May open 18 January at 4pm Copenhagen time.
