Voted 39th in Asia’s Best 50 Restaurants, Issaya Siamese Club in Bangkok has opened a new sister restaurant in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, set on the 25th Floor of Soundwill Plaza II, Midtown.

Traditional Thai ingredients and flavours feature on the menu along with international and progressive cooking methods. Expect classic Issaya-style dishes such as Mussuman Curry, Australian Lamb Shank (Mussuman Gae) and Jasmine Flower Flan (Kanom Dok Mali), along with other seasonal dishes.

The same ingredients, flavours, cooking methods and plating will be used as in Bangkok, with some additional dishes exclusive to the Hong Kong branch. Thai influenced desserts with an international twist will also take pride of place on the menu.

“Our kitchen and pastry counter will be a highlight feature of the restaurant so our guests can see our techniques and flavours in action,” says Executive chef Marcus Loh. Many fresh and organic ingredients will be flown in daily from Thailand, Australia and New Zealand, with some fresh Thai herbs being sourced directly from their own kitchen garden.

The restaurant boasts stunning city and harbour views with the added bonus of a large outdoor terrace for al fresco dining.
