Michelin Nordic Cities Guide for 2016

The Michelin Nordic Cities Guide for 2016, which features selections for Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, has been released and Nordic Michelin Stars are shining bright.

The big news was the announcement of two new three-starred restaurants in the guide with both Geranium in Copenhagen and Maaemo in Norway reciving the highest possible accolade.

In the two star category the Fäviken restaurant in Sweden, run by chef Magnus Nilssonjumped straight to two stars. René Redzepi’s Noma, currently operating as a pop-up restaurant in Australia, remained at two stars. There were a total of 11 new one star restaurants added to the guide. Five in Sweden, four in Denmark and two in Norway.
