Roca and Herman Host Secret Restaurant at Massive Music Festival

Chefs Jordi Roca and Sergio Herman teamed up to open a 'Secret Restaurant' within the hugely popular Belgium music festival, Tomorrowland.

The two chefs operated a secret restaurant in a hidden location somewhere within the festival grounds. They served two sittings a day over the course of the two-day festival with a restaurant big enough for just 8 people.

Jordi Roca is part of the famous Roca Brothers trio who took top spot at The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2013 for their El Celler De Can Roca restaurant in Girona. Sergio Herman is a three Michelin starred chef in charge of the Oud Sluis restaurant in Holland.

Both are famous for their innovative and modern approach to cooking and both have a keen passion for music - hence the rather odd sounding pairing of two of the world's best chefs at one of the world's hardest music festivals.

Speaking to Dutch press about the secret restaurant, Herman said:  "Cooking with Jordi Roca at Tomorrowland will be pure magic. We will play all the senses, our styles fit well together and click there! "

With thousands attending the festival and just 16 seats available each day -  tickets where about as easy to find as reservations at either of the chef's restaurants this Friday evening, near impossible. However, the organizers of the festival did give 1 lucky visitor the chance to win a 'Golden Ticket' for them and 7 of their friends to eat at the restaurant - a prize that beats waiting in line for a soggy burger.
