The international chef conference Identità Golose arrives in Milan this weekend (March 9th-11th Feb) with three days dedicated to gastronomic discovery and debate.
The theme in the main hall for 2014's discussions will be A Tasty Intelligence - looking at how contemporary chefs have to work intelligently on a number of levels, from combining flavours, costs, tastes and even focusing on how the guests in their restaurants digest food after a meal.
Chefs presenting cover the entire spectrum of gastronomy with visitors from Japan, Italy, Spain, Thailand, Brazil and America all sharing ideas, research and conclusions on stage.
On top of debates centered on 'A Tasty Intelligence', other topics to be discussed during the event include: the vegan world, pizza and pastry making, the use of beer and water in cooking and a pasta debate.
On the Acqua Panna and S.Pellegrino stand Fine Dining Lovers will be offering live interviews with chefs and a special 'Chefs in the Net' show, where we get up close and personal with some of Italy's greatest culinary characters, including: Davide Scabin, Giuseppe Palmieri, Massimo Bottura, Pino Cuttaia and Mauro Uliassi.
Running alongside Identita Golose, the Milano Food & Wine Festival will offer revellers from all over Europe the chance to sample a selection of some of Italy's top grapes and most famous wine producers.
We'll be tweeting live from the event and bringing you any exciting developments as they take place. You can see a full line up for Identita Golose 2014 here.
