If you are itching to try Ferran Adrià's food, you'll have to hold off for two more years. The acclaimed chef has announced he will return to the kitchen in 2015 to cook at a restaurant that will open once a month at the elBulli Foundation.

According to Spanish news agency EFE, Adrià announced his big plans during a visit to Hong Kong ahead of today's Sotheby's elBulli wine auction, which includes a dinner with the chef. A second auction will be held in New York on April 26th.

The chef will use the proceeds from the auction to fund the elBulli Foundation, which is located in the exact spot his famed three Michelin-starred restaurant once stood. The foundation is the living legacy of elBulli and is involved in a number of projects including the BulliPedia, a massive online culinary encyclopedia.

Adrià said the restaurant at elBulli Foundation will open for one month out of the year. It will feature the food of visiting chefs and culinary students. ''We will serve light foods, like appetizers, although I'm afraid of the expectactions that would generate,'' the chef said.

More: When elBulli was open, Adrià crowned the prestigious World's 50 Best Restaurants list a total of five times. This year, who will rank first place?
