Ferran Adrià has told Fine Dining Lovers that he will open a new venue in the next year in London.
The Spanish chef will open it alongside his brother and business partner Albert. Borrowing from the 41 degrees concept of the brothers restaurant in Barcelona, Ferran Adrià says they talked and decided just three days ago to start a new venture in London with the exact location still undecided.
He told FDL: ""With my brother we have decided to open a place of snack and cocktail in London. It will be a new 41 degree concept and we will have to work a lot on this. This was a decision we took recently and now we are looking for partners to move to London." It will be the first time the Adrias have launched a venue in London with Adria adding that they will working along the theme of snack and cocktails but that concept will be a new one.
Ferran was speaking with Fine Dining Lovers ahead of The World's 50 Best Restaurants 2012 which will be announced at London's Guildhall on the 30th of April. Adria has placed number one on the list five times in his career and is a previous Lifetime Achievement winner.
