Finally, a Ferran Adrià exhibit is coming to the United States early next year. While previous exhibits in Barcelona and London have focused on the history of elBulli, organizers say this will be the first major museum exhibition to focus on the visualization and drawing practices of the acclaimed chef.

Called Ferran Adrià: Notes on Creativity, the exhibit will be showcased at The Drawing Center in New York from January 25 to February 28, 2014. In the fall, the exhibit will move to MOCA Cleveland from September 26, 2014 through January 18, 2015, Eater reports.

Notes on Creativity will feature drawings, graphics, framed prints and related ephemera to Adrià creative process, according to a press release. A series of elBulli notebooks documenting menu development and plasticine food models depicting restaurant dishes  will be on display also.

The exhibit also includes two films:  Documenting Documenta which tells the story of Adrià's participation in the art exhibition Documenta 12 and 1846, which highlights every single dish ever created at elBulli.

On January 23rd 2014, Adrià will meet with Dan Barber for a talk on DNA of the Culinary Processs . Tickets for that special event may be purchased here.
