Acclaimed Mexican chef Enrique Olvera will be hosting a special dinner to commemorate one of Venezuela's most renown restaurants.
Olvera, whose restaurant Pujol ranks 36th in the World's 50 Best Restaurants list, will be visiting the capital city of Caracas to join chef Carlos Garcia (pictured above, left) in the kitchen. Together, they will cook two special dinners to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Garcia's restaurant Alto.
Garcia is known for his molecular spin on classic Venezuelan dishes - a cuisine which, like many others in Latin America, is a blend of indigenous, African and European traditions. Olvera (pictured above, right) has made a career of blending modern and traditional techniques into Mexican cuisine - which itself has a vast array of influences.
The chefs will cook together will at Alto on December 5th and 6th. It's a dinner that blends the talent of two very creative and dedicated chefs. To reserve your spot, you can visit the restaurant's website.
