Ready for a challenge? Time to try and identify some fairly unused and unknown ingredients. Rene Redzepi , from the award- winner Noma restaurant in Denmark, has challenged his Instagram followers to identify the fish eggs above.
"There is a free dinner for two at Noma for anyone (the first) that can name these different fish eggs (I couldn't)," the chef wrote.
Another guessed it was the chef said not. In fact, from a quick scan of the answers, no one has answered correctly yet.
One user responded: “Lumpsucker, skrei / cod, mackerel, blue whiting or maybe pollock, blåstål / cuckoo wrasse, halibut.” Seems a very detailed guess, Redzepi hasn't responded to that comment yet.
