Here's the full-length documentary of the Cook It Raw chef camp held last fall in Charleston. In it you'll watch food pioneers like Dan Barber, Albert Adrià, Enrique Olvera, Ben Shewry and April Bloomfield learn the art of Lowcountry cooking.
They were among 18 world-class chefs who were adventurous enough to spend 10 days in the wild then create a dish based on their experience. This was the inaugural Cook It Raw event in the United States, which has previously taken place in locations around the world including world Poland and Japan.
Event organizers Alessandro Porcelli and Andrea Petrini teamed up with The Perennial Plate to produce a striking film depicting the chefs' incredible journey in 30 minutes. The video opens up with a look at the events that took place a week prior to the kickoff of Cook It Raw (Charleston) and concludes with the chef's impressions of their exciting adventure.
